Grove Overhead Door started as a dream for Doug who was fresh out of High School in the mid-eighties. He worked several years for a garage door company in Newark, OH. He spent about 10 years working in a factory but decided to return to the garage door industry in 1996. Grove Overhead Door, LLC was born 13 years later out of his garage and has been going strong since. His wife Shani joined the company to manage the office in 2015. They along with their daughter, 2 cats, and a dog, have resided in Columbus, OH for over 25 years.

About Us

Grove Overhead Door started as a dream for Doug who was fresh out of High School in the late-eighties.  He worked several years for a garage door company in Newark, OH, learning the trade.  He moved on from there and spent about 10 years at a factory.  Then in 1996 Doug decided to return to the garage door industry here in Columbus.  Grove Overhead Door, LLC was launched in 2009 in his garage and has been growing ever since.  His wife Shani joined the company to manage the office in 2015.  They have resided in Columbus, Ohio for over 25 years and spend their free time camping and enjoying the outdoors. Doug enjoys smoking meats and fishing.
